How: We gave the Kanso a full poplar wood core for a lively, energetic feel that stays composed at speed but never feels overly demanding. Polyurethane sidewalls and tip-fill soak up vibration and protect against impact, while the progressive rocker profile keeps the ski playful and intuitive across changing terrain. A softer flex and tighter turn radius make it easy to engage, fast to pivot, and exceedingly capable whether you’re in the trees, on edge, or launching features. And with full-height edges and 4001 sintered bases, it’s built to take a beating and stay fast doing it.

Materials

Bio-Based Epoxy

Entropy Super Sap® epoxy contains 28% bio-based content and is specifically designed for skis. It's formulated for high strength and impact resistance, which creates a durable, tough, and lightweight composite.

Sidewalls

Full-height urethane - bombproof and double chamfered for reduced swing weight. Steep sidewall angles create great energy transfer to your edges.

Topsheet

Clearview brushed matte nylon with sublimated graphics and transparent windows to the wood core.

Base + Edge

1.4 mm CNC knife-cut 4001 Race Grade Durasurf sintered UHMW. 2.2 mm oversized and heat-treated edges take a beating.
